2D Football Wars XP, Levels, Daily Challenges and Achievements

Updated 2026-10-01 · Fan-made guide for 2D Football Wars · Not affiliated with Alpha Dolphin Games

Everything you do in 2D Football Wars pays into one career: a level curve that never fills, per-action XP rates the game never shows you, three daily challenges identical for every player, a seven-day streak ladder, and thirteen achievements. This page lays out the whole economy with the actual numbers from the game's build.

The XP curve

Levels require `150 × level^1.2` XP, rounded: level 2 costs 150 XP, level 3 costs 345, level 4 costs 579 — and each later level costs a little more than the last. The developers designed it so the bar visibly moves on day one while never being 'finished' — there is no max level, only career stats like lifetime XP and best style combo tracked alongside it.

What each action pays

The per-action XP rates, straight from the game's economy table. Two conclusions follow: losing is never worth nothing (12 XP keeps the bar moving), and wins with clean sheets dominate — a 5–0 shutout pays 60 + 40 + 125 in goals alone, before style points, roughly four times what the same match at 5–4 pays.

Daily challenges and the streak ladder

Every day rolls three challenges from a pool of fourteen templates — and every player worldwide gets the same three, since the daily seed is the calendar date. The pool includes: score 3 or 6 goals, win 2 matches, win 5 slide tackles, block 3 shots, score a header, score a bicycle kick, use 8 special powers, win without conceding, strike the ball past 1500 px/s twice, reach a 12x style combo, clear 3 Gauntlet rounds, score from your own half, and earn 3 Trick Trial stars. Each completed challenge pays 90 XP.

On top of the challenges sits the return streak: day 1 pays 60 XP and it climbs every day — 90, 130, 180, 240, 320 — until day 7 pays 500 XP with a trophy icon. The streak exists, in the developers' own words, 'to protect' daily play; missing a day resets the ladder.

The locker: cosmetics and themes

Career progress also feeds the Locker, where you own and equip cosmetics in four categories: kits (jerseys), balls, ball trails and goal celebrations — you start with the classic set. Settings also offers five accent themes (Aurora, Ember, Violet, Ice, Mono) that recolor the interface. None of it affects gameplay; it is the collection layer over the endless XP curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much XP do you need per level in 2D Football Wars?

Level 2 needs 150 XP, and each level after costs 150 × level^1.2 — about 345 XP for level 3, 579 for level 4, and so on. There is no level cap.

Are daily challenges the same for everyone?

Yes. The three daily challenges are rolled from the calendar date, so every player gets the same set on the same day. Each is worth 90 XP.

What is the daily streak reward on day 7?

500 XP. The ladder pays 60, 90, 130, 180, 240, 320 and then 500 XP across seven consecutive days; missing a day resets it.

How many achievements are there?

Thirteen, from First Blood (your first goal) to Living Legend (50 career goals). The rarest by requirement are Champion (win a Tournament) and Speed Demon (strike the ball past 1800 px/s).
